To be totally honest with you guys I've had to conduct the proper research for my study. I've been doing test and I've spent hours, days, even weeks working on this research. So without further adieu here is Vol. 2 to Qualifications to being a New Nigga.

I have to continue to remind yall these blogs are for comedic purposes only!

If you have been following along with the New Nigga series you would know that Vol. 1 was based on music. The music that is and isn't, in the ITunes of a NN. Today's focus will be on Fashion, in other words the uniform of a new nigga. The reason for this is so you can spot these people from far so you're not surprised when one says "Hate Me Now by Nas, it that new?" You can mentally prepare yourself for the lack of knowledge one will have. I know you have been waiting, so lets just get started.

Qualification #1

According to the research NN's tent to do things that make no damn sense, they often do things that the average real nigga born before 1988 wouldn't think about doing. That ladies and gents is having random hairstyles. Random hairstyles include a mohawks, having wild crazy parts in your heads, and lastly putting dye in your hair. I have yet to met a male that had a good role model in his life that has done this. A role model can consist of your father and/or step father, uncle, or just an ol head from off the block. NN's lack that male role model and they have no one to tell them that they are out here giving their last name a bad rep and need to turn their chill on extra high. Here's a few pictures of the types of shit they go into the barbershop and ask for:

Qualification #2

If you were out here wearing USPA and Beverly Hills Club Polo thinking it's Ralph Lauren, you my friend are a (everyone say it with me now) a New Nigga! I understand the USPA and Beverly Hills Club Polo run has been decreasing over the last year or two but how can you not tell the difference? The USPA logo clearly has two niggas on the shirt looking like they're arguing on who's going to be the wing man for the night. But some still decided to proceed and wear that shirt on they're back and go to the club and make a fool of themselves. Not only did a few NN's go into the club with USPA but some had the nerve to "pretend stunt." I've come to conclusion that some of you need over the counter extra strength chill because the regular shit does nothing for you.

Prime example this nigga!

Honestly do you believe he has his father in his life or an ol head teaching him the in's and out's of the game. The answer is Fuck. No! He comes from a single parent household, his mother works two jobs, and he watches his little brother after school. No males in his life schooling him to the game. I can almost guarantee his Ipod is infested with Tyga, J. Cole, and Big Sean and he never heard Reasonable Doubt.

Another thing, NN's have ran Ralph Lauren Polo into the grave. According to them its the only brand that exist and they'll wear some ugly shit Polo made and say "But it's Polo tho." Just because it's Ralph Lauren doesn't automatically make it dope!

Qualification #3

If a NN doesn't have some wild crazy shit in his hair I can almost bet you he has a snapback on. I'm still conducting the research on why they love snapbacks over fitted but I do know they love em. I'm talking snapbacks in mad flavors too! I remember growing up in my teens and you would get clowned if you dared to come outside with that on your head. You better get ya ass a throwback and the matching fitted, but that was in the early 2000's tho. Research pending on why NN's have a love for snapbacks....

I hope you enjoyed Vol. 2

Follow @Rell_Mac and Vol. 3 will be here before you know it!

I'm out yall be safe and o yea....

Written by Rell Mac (@Rell_Mac)

Throwback Thursday

I already know what some of yall want to know "Rell why didn't you drop a blog this past Monday?!" Well if you must know, a nigga was fake busy. Yup, I said it fake busy. So go find your chill and give it a nice hug!

Now, today is Thursday and since I didn't release a blog Monday I'd figure I'll give yall a double shot of Throwback Thursday. See I'm making up for it, so just turn your fucking relax volumes up b and calm down! Today's Throwback Thursday features an artist that was once in everyone's top 5, an artist that was at the top of the rap game in the late 90's. Today's Throwback Thursday comes from a rapper who released his first two albums in the same year which was 1998, and that artist is Earl Simmons b.k.a DMX.

Now yall can attempt to front on DMX now because of his most recent trials and tribulations but let's keep it all the way real here. Dark Man X was that dude, "It's Dark and Hell is Hot" still gets put in rotation. After listening to the right DMX song it made you wanna rob your nearest corner store, gun butt the nigga behind the counter, take your mask off and look in the camera and say "Bitch I did this to you." I'm pretty sure a few people went to jail behind a DMX song in the summer of 1998 and if we had WorldStar back then the footage would be all over that shit. But today wont feature the "smack ya coworker" Earl Simmons, one half of today's Throwback Thursday is the song titled "How It's Goin' Down"

"How It's Goin' Down" is track ten on his first album and did I mention it's a classic. I know not one person that doesn't like this song, for starters it has one of the funniest skits before the song begins. The song talks about how X bagged this chick that he knew from back in the day when he was rocking a wave cap. I'm guessing he had 360's when he first met her Idk, but they started to mess around and ol girl has a BD that she has two kids by. Niggas (referring to men and women) didn't care then and they damn sure don't care now! Back to the song tho, they get caught up and continues to be friends by the end of the song. Let me remind you this song was released in 1998 and still gets mad listens in 2012 so enjoy the first half of Throwback Thursday DMX "How It's Goin' Down"

Video: (Clean Version)

Song: (Album Version) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3chkLMi9-JI

The second half of today's Throwback is also track 10 but on DMX's second album "Flesh of my Flesh, Blood of my Blood." This song can help a nigga in a time of need and show a young nigga that you too can make it out the hood. The song is "Slippin" this is one of my favorite X songs of all time. There was so much pain and anger shared on this song, DMX actually made you understand and feel what he felt. This song starts off with X sharing his feelings when he was a kid and how him and his mother wasn't on the same page. In the video his mom styled on em and said "Fuck ya report card lil nigga, there's grown folk in this room. We playing spades and we got a 10 hand fuck out my face."

I know she said that, DMX told me.

But on a serious note, DMX discussed his harsh childhood growing up as a troubled kid and doing drugs. This is a real song, an artist talking about his life and not be ashamed of the things he did. So enjoy your second half of Throwback Thursday DMX "Slippin"

Video: (Clean Version)

Song: (Album Version)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMiVOKc8Awo

And just by watching these videos furthers my theory that DMX wasn't acting in "Belly" like how Cam wasn't acting in "Paid In Full"

I'm outty like an A8, be safe!

Written by Rell Mac (Follow @Rell_Mac)

Throwback Thursday

Another Thursday and another dope blog for you niggas and niggettes. I hope everyone had a good work week, and remember tomorrow is Friday and you only got 8 more hours.

This Thursday I thought I take it back to the 90's on yall real quick, and not just the 90's but East Coast 90's at that. Back when niggas was rocking FUBU jersey's, and I know you niggas had at least one FUBU jersey don't front. Back when females were wearing Reebok Classic and made sure they kept the soles clean. Yeaaaaaa I know y'all remember! Anyway this Throwback Thursday is from one of the greatest rappers of all-time, and in my opinion the rapper that has the greatest flow of all-time. That ladies and gents is the late great Christopher Wallace b.k.a Notorious B.I.G.

I had all day to decide on which song from BIG I wanted to discuss and trust me it hard (pause) trying to pick a song. BIG had several dope singles from both his albums but I wanted to pick a dope song that also had a nice video. Before I unveil which song Throwback Thursday will feature lets discuss a few things about The Notorious BIG. For a big, fat, black, ugly nigga with a fucked up eye BIG had mad confidence. He talked that shit and stayed in some fly shit too "I stay Coogi down to the sock" and not this new millennium Coogi either. He was talking about the real Coogi, when Coogi was the shit and had them 90's hoes thirst b! Yea ya mom and aunts were thirst for a nigga in a Coogi sweater, think I'm lying go ask them. But enough of ya aunts trying to thirst trap a nigga in a Coogi sweater lets talk about this song and video.

Notorious BIG "Sky's The Limit"

This song is a fucking classic hand down b. It starts off with him talking that shit when he introduced his muthafuckin self, SWAG! "He went from ashy to classy (alright I like that alright)." On a serious note there's nothing bad you can say about this song, it has a nice beat, dope lyrics and he rode the beat perfectly. He told his life story on this song from being a kid that had to front and sew labels on his clothes to a man that put money away for his daughters college. That's real shit! On top of the song, the visual was nice too. Since BIG passed before the album dropped they had to come up with something for the video and the idea they came up with was crazy. All kids in the video, this idea was definitely fresh!

Enjoy your Throwback Thursday!

Before you watch the video the lil Busta Rhymes and and the lil Diddy have me in tears every time I watch this video LMAO

BIG my nigga and all but he also said a NBA game got rained out. Majority of the times I'm very successful in finding something that has me crying tears of laughter and I sometimes post links on my Twitter to where my followers can find the comedy. Over the last month and a half I haven't seen one blog dedicated to the topic we're going to discuss today, and to be honest I don't know why I haven't found one. Today we will discuss how and why YMCMB signed Busta Rhymes and Mystikal.

Let's start with Busta Rhymes

I can't start this off by not giving credit when credit is due, Busta Rhymes is a legend. He's giving us classic songs such as "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See" dope song and also dope video with the Coming to America shit. He's also giving us "What's It Gonna Be" feat Janet Jackson, that man has done his thing musically, but let's set our watches to "Real Nigga Time" (shoutout to @SmackWhite) who is checking for Busta Rhymes in 2012 b? I'll admit Busta is great for features, he did his thing on "Look At Me Now", but aren't you tired of Busta Rhymes screaming and yelling at you? The man has been yelling for the past 15 years and now you think a dope Drake hook is going to stop this nigga from screaming? Hell. No!! He's going to scream at Drake so much in the studio he might force his lightskin ass to cry. Why did YMCMB sign Busta Rhymes?

Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1chIpba4yQ4&feature=fvst

What's It Gonna Be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZfvd3Vf8Lk&feature=related

And now Mystikal

Baby and Slim really signed Mystikal tho. Mystikal was down with No Limit at the start of his career and back in 2000 he was killing the Billboard charts with "Shake Ya Ass", but do you honestly think he can have the same success in 2012? Ask yourself this, can you and do you want to sit and listen to a 3:50 song of Mystikal? I just dont get why someone would even go through with this deal. Just listen to this and you tell me if it's dope of not!

New Mystikal ft. Birdman and Lil Wayne http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htRRXwISf6s

The reason this blog is titled "Will History Repeat Itself" is because what Roc-A-Fella was to my age group what YMCMB is to this younger generation. One of the reasons the Roc broke up was because Jay said Dame was investing time and money in artists that he felt were going nowhere, artists such as M.O.P, Ol Dirty Bastard, and Young Stef. So do you think the same can happen to YMCMB with signing people like Busta Rhymes and Mystikal? YMCMB already has a roster full of artists: Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Jae Mills, Cory Gunz, Bow Wow, Short Dawg, T-Streets, and the list goes on. Do you think the same issue will happen with them as it did with Roc-A-Fella? Will having too many artists trying to get their careers off the ground stop the cash cows of the label from getting the attention they need, and do you think jealousy will drive the label apart?

Let me know what you think.....

Written by Rell Mac (@Rell_Mac)

Throwback Thursday

Ok it's Thursday, so that means good drink specials, niggas preparing to not do work tomorrow because it's Friday, and a dope blog from @Rell_Mac

This weeks Throwback Thursday is a song both men and women can appreciate. The women are going to like this song because they generally like the song. I believe 99% of women like and think that they can sing so they sing, us men like this song because we like the female singing the song. Now this song was featured on the soundtrack to one of my favorite movies. A movie that I've watched hundreds of times and still to this day can never get tired of it! A movie that if you never seen it in it's entirety, you can not call yourself a true fan and should be boo'd.

Yup, I said it!!

The movie is "Backstage" and the song is Mya feat. Jay-Z "Best Of Me (Remix)."

Ok, my reason for picking this song is because like I stated above I'm a man and I think Mya is physically dope. Secondly, it's a song feat HOV and I figured both genders can enjoy this song, ladies enjoy this lyrics and fella's enjoy Mya. Like I said this song featured of the "Backstage" soundtrack, if you never seen it you need to. You're not a true Jay-Z fan if you haven't and that's that!

Let's get into this video!

The video starts off with Dame Dash wearing a Roc-A-Fella leather, at the time I wanted one the ROC was the shit! I just felt like I had to let yall know that! Ok, but DJ Clue which is one of the best mixtape DJ's ever (do your history before you say some dumb shit) does his classic scream and eco before every track routine. Clue would scream on a song in the middle of the verse like niggas wasn't trying to listen, he sometimes didn't even wait for the hook. Following Clue, HOV does his thing. I don't think I really have to speak on Shawn Carter's verse, it was dope. Then after all the rappy rap shit who comes on the screen? Sexy. Ass. Mya! Now before you ladies decide you want to slander Mya just chill, because I'm pretty sure 99.9% of you brawds about to slander wanted a jersey dress because of her! Am I right? Aite then!

Speaking of the jersey dress era, I remember going to the Penn Hills picnic and seeing girls trying their hardest to pull off the jersey dress outfit. For those who aren't from my city (Pittsburgh, PA) the Penn Hills picnic was like "Teenage Freaknik" in my city. This was your chance to throw on that fly shit (well what we thought was fly at the time) and bag that dude/chick you always wanted! But what I'm trying to say is Mya made the jersey dress dope and with HOV standing beside her with the matching jersey made every nigga wanna go cop one. Shit I know I did and I'm a Duke fan (Hey don't fucking judge me) But this was a dope song which was on the soundtrack to a dope movie

Enjoy your Throwback Thursday!

Ok since all you nigga asked "Rell, post some pictures of Mya" here yall go! (pause) Wait for it, wait for it, (ding) You don't have to beg your girl to blow your paycheck! Ok, that had absolutely nothing to do with today's topic I just felt like sharing a joke with yall. Moving. Right. Along!

Before I start understand, these blogs are written to provide comedy like I stated in my first blog!

Now over this past weekend I noticed a few things while on some social networks and I came to conclusion that majority of Black Twitter/FaceBook lacks "Chill." A slim percentage of you niggas understand, but some of you need to master the art of "chillin."

Chillin (verb) Not bringing out your nigga side all the time/ Knowing when, where, and how to fall back.

Now before I proceed with what needs to be said, I must to borrow a line from Jay-Z, Shawn Carter, Jiggaman, or whatever the fuck he's calling himself in 2012. Album: Kingdom Come, Track: 5, Verse: 1 "I know I'm guilty of it too but not like them" Well now that I said that, lets move on.

Niggas posting pics like this or similar to this need to chill.....

Niggas taking pictures of themselves holding bottles of liquor must come to an end today! Niggas love taking pictures b, either in the bathroom trying to get the best profile pic (which I personally think is the corniest shit in the world) or showing off their wealth in liquor. Nigga...you holding this bottle of liquor is equivalent to a nigga doing this

Yup, not one single fuck was giving when this nigga decided to take this picture. NOT FUCKING ONE!! Now this nigga is holding 17 dollars in this picture, let me repeat that so you can understand. This nigga is holding 17 dollars b. Now $17 is about the same price as a personal bottle of Peach Ciroc is it not?! Therefore, every time I see a picture of a nigga "Shittin on his/her haters" by holding a bottle of Ciroc in a picture all I really see is a nigga holding $17.

#JustChill

My FaceBook community I like yall, I really do. I've had a FaceBook for a while now, but sometimes I have to deactivate my account because I just can't take the loneliness I see. I really wish FaceBook never changed, and you had to have a college email to become a member but hey that's another story. But FaceBook this needs to stop!

Googling pictures of items you want or can't afford at the time needs to come to an end today! There is no reason why some people have whole albums of pictures from Google images b! There is no chill in a niggas bones when they upload pics for Google. I understand if you collect sneakers that's cool everyone has their thing, but why not take pics of the shoes in your closet? You know the shoes you actually own, you're trying to fool people so we like to ask you to.....

#JustChill

So next time you see someone posting pictures of liquor bottles kindly dive head first in his/her mentions and ask them to #JustChill. When you see one of your FB friends posting pictures of Ralph Lauren Polo from Google images kindly two step onto their wall and ask them to #JustChill.

Here's another prime example of a nigga that just refuses to chill....

Why Juvy? Let me remind yall, Juvenile is 36 years old and is still being let in the studio to release these struggle raps. Someone @ Juvenile and ask him to #JustChill. I'm out b!

Written by Rell Mac (@Rell_Mac)

Throwback Thursday

What's good world? Aside from my somewhat funny and debatable blogs that I normally release, I plan to release a blog every Thursday titled "Throwback Thursday." This is where I discuss a song, skit, movie, or event that had previously happened to remind some on the past.

Today we're going to focus on music and not just music but a certain song. Now this song was released in early 2000 from an artist at the time no one from at least my city has ever heard of. But just because it was from an artist that we didn't know at the time did not stop people from blastin this song at "Project pissy hallway levels" (shoutout to @i_WhiteMike ). This song was an instant hit the moment you heard it and it put this artist hometown on the map. That song, niggas and niggettes is Nelly "Country Grammar."

Now no matter how gangster you claim to be or how "swagged out" you think you are when you heard "boom, boom, boom Hot Shit" in the year 2000 you instantly turned your discman up. Ok, let me breakdown what a discman is to you new niggas. You know what I not even going to do that, Google that shit if you don't know. Moving. Right. Along. Nelly's "Country Grammar" as being played by kids, young adults, damn near everyone it was something you just couldn't deny.

Now let's talk about this video. Within the first 10 seconds you seen the "Ratchetness" but from a song where in the hook it says "Shimmy shimmy coco what...." what did you expect?! All jokes aside tho this video was St. Louis. Nelly made sure he wore nothing but jerseys from St. Louis teams, they had old school rides, and lil kids wearing Vokal. Speaking of the jerseys Nelly wore, he made wearing your jersey backwards popular! Now I know some of you niggas did it, don't front now!! You can tell Nelly was at the beginning of his career and just didn't care the nigga had a yellow durag with the tail out b. Now when you wear a durag with the tail out in public you don't care about shit b, it's a fact! Nelly and the St. Lunatics put on for their city and showed the world how St. Louis live, so enjoy your "Throwback Thursday" with Nelly's "Country Grammar"

"Let me in now, let me in now! (Too Short voice)

The title of today's blog is "Do You Believe?!" And I know some of you are thinking "Do I believe in what Rell Mac?" Well give me a second to explain the purpose of the damn blog, fucking impatient niggas. Now as I was saying, over the weekend I decided to listen to an album that I personally feel is dope, an album that has a lot of replay value because the artist was speaking from a real place. That album ladies and gents is "Trap Muzik" by Clifford "T.I" Harris. This album includes songs such as "24's", "Rubberband Man" and my personal favorite "I Still Luv You." Dope album hands down, there's no arguing that!

Now if you're like me, on Jan 1st 2012 you couldn't wait to turn your stereos up to Section 8, WIC check levels to hear "Fuck Da City Up" T.I's most recently released mixtape. There were trailers on every high profiled blog site, tweets flying left and right, shit I even think the nigga had a commercial on BET. Well maybe not a commercial but you get my point, everyone knew Clifford was dropping a tape at the start of the year. Now I don't know what city T.I had plans on fucking up but it damn sure wasn't mine. To hell with fucking up a city I don't think that nigga damaged a zip code, but hey that's just my opinion.

I totally understand the goal and purpose behind T.I's new mixtape. The purpose of the tape was to bring that "A-Town" vibe back to mainstream hip-hop and T.I was going to be the captain of that ship. I don't think T.I reached his goal with his newest mixtape because just 5 days following Ross dropped "Rich Forever" and 98% of you niggas frisbeed that T.I tape. So here is where I purpose my question, "Can we and should we still believe in T.I musically?"

We are all aware of T.I's legal issues from having more guns than Aaron from "Money Talks" to having ecstasy pills in the back of the Maybach. Now we all heard the multiple apology songs and just recently I heard T.I was going back to that "Trap Muzik" vibe on his next album. Now if you haven't been living under a rock for the past few years you know what "The Trap" is. If you know you know if you don't then ask someone, I'm not providing blogs and being ya urban dictionary fuck I look like. But on "Trap Muzik" T.I spoke on selling drugs, guns, just the everyday struggle of a nigga living in poverty. The album was believable and real from my understanding and like I stated above it was a nice album. So my next question is "Do you think its necessary for T.I to go that route?"

If he does go that route its going to be hard for us the consumer to believe in the lyrics because clearly he isn't doing that anymore. He isn't selling drugs or living in the projects anymore, the nigga has a TV show on VH1 now. And just by judging from his last piece of work "Fuck Da City Up" his music is struggling, so can we and should we believe that the "King Of The South" still holds the crown or did he lose the crown over the years he went to prison?

Should we still believe in T.I musically? @ me for input on the blog @Rell_Mac

Hip-Hop Needs Lyrical Competition

I know some of yall probably thinking "Rell I thought you were dropping a blog every week." Shut up hoe I've been busy!!

Now that I'm here, I feel the need to discuss something rap has lacked the last few years. Something that keeps your favorite rapper on his/hers pen game and making sure they're not a step behind. Something that makes a rapper say "I feel like ending a niggas career today" and that is lyrical competition. I haven't heard a good back and forth lyrical battle in a while. Is it cuz these new nigga rappers are too scared to call a nigga out or has the time and climate of hip-hop just changed?

Now in no way am I promoting negativity but "battling" "beefs" or whatever you niggas wanna call it are just apart of the culture. Rap is like boxing, niggas talking shit on how good they are and proving it. That's just it

As far back as I can remember rap always had a good "beef" well not beef but two or more niggas disagreeing on who's best. I remember like it was yesterday when Dr. Dre released "Dre Day" on The Chronic and not only did Dre have a diss record toward Eazy E the nigga made it his single and released a video as well. Not long after Eazy E dropped "Real Muthafuckin G'z" and also released a video. No one got shot, no one died (Eazy E died from HIV) but niggas had a disagreement and made records expressing themselves.

Dr. Dre - "Dre Day" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3t0R10dXJxk
Eazy E "Real Muthafuckin G'z" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsdLn46UXnA

The classic Nas and Jay-Z. Now if you listen to Shawn Corey Carter then you know HOV is the muthafuckin king of subliminal disses, prime example Album: Vol. 2 Hard Knock Life Track 4: "Ride Or Die" Verse: 1. HOV said, "Check ya own videos, you'll always be number 2" I bet 95% of you niggas didn't know that was a Ma$e diss. But back to what I was saying J and Nas had a great in my opinion one of the best lyrical disagreements in rap history. Some say HOV won, some say Nas won I'm not going to get into that so moving along. (HOV won tho)

I remember hearing "Takeover" and thinking to myself "If Nas don't respond he a hoe" and sure enough on Nas' next album "Ether" drops. Both diss records were classics by the way (Takeover was better, HOV broke down Nas' career but like I said I'm not getting in to all that). After "Ether" dropped Shawn dropped "Super Ugly" "Blueprint2" (the song) Nasty Nas released "H to the Homo" and some other shit but anyway my point is lyrical disagreements are needed to keep both MC's on point.

Jay-Z:
"Ride or Die" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJzo-8j_0aE
The Ma$e video HOV was talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6t6wknrmLjM&feature=fvst
"Takeover" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAnGnevKxJE
"Super Ugly" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvBTHhEFeJo
"Blueprint2 (the song)" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pg8hgYHQov0

Nas:
"Ether" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tub7EoRBwO0
"H to the Homo" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gYPipNBcLs

Other great lyrical disagreements:
Jadakiss vs Beanie Sigel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfrpz-SnvQQ
50 Cent vs Ja Rule: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WcbDqly5bB8
Luda vs T.I: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIf0PI7xyds
Joe Budden vs A lot of niggas

But niggas just dont have battles no more. Just recently Luda clearly threw a shot at Drake and Lil (damn I meant) Big Sean. NOTHING HAPPENED.

Jeezy and Ross are throwing subliminals at each other but no one wants to say the others name in fear of possibly getting their career ended. (Jeezy needs to respond to that Ross diss by Friday tho)

It took a lightskin nigga such as Common to call a niggas name out. And who did he call out, Drake one of the best R&B rappers ever LMAO. Now will Drake respond who knows but does Drake need to respond, Hell. Yes!! Every great rapper has to go through a battle in order to claim the crown and since you niggas are currently giving Drake the crown of hip-hop right now he has to respond. As long as they keep it on wax (that's so old school) as long as they keep it via hulkshare everything is cool.

Drake and Common diss: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6Ck6fRamnY

Lyrical competitions are needed!!

Tell me what yall think....

Qualifications to being a New Nigga Vol. 1

Welcome into the mind of Rell Mac, a popular stranger, semi alcoholic, that likes to party and bullshit. I voice my opinion on real nigga subjects which include but not limited to Hip-Hop, politics, television, pretty much everything. And now that yall be knowin, some of these things I speak on may make you laugh others may not. Just remember at the end of the day it's all comedy....and semi real shit. With that being said I plan to release a blog once a week, sometimes twice a week depending on my schedule. Sheeeit I might just drop a blog once a month hey sometimes a nigga be fake busy (shoutout to @dareal_mccoy)

Before I start I must explain and define what a new nigga is.

New Nigga (noun) someone, male or female that only follows information that is popular in modern day mainstream media.

Now that we got that out the way, today we're going to discuss music mainly hip-hop, or rap, or trap music, or whatever these new niggas are calling it today. New niggas have no sense of rap history and from what I understand really don't give two fucks about. So I plan to throw a few things out there to let you know if you my friend are indeed a new nigga. I know a few new niggas, have had conversations with new niggas so I think I can help when spotting out a new nigga when it comes to music.

Qualification #1
New niggas do not own nor have ever heard in its entirety a classic albums. Now I can name a few classic albums "Reasonable Doubt", "Illmatic", "The Chronic", "Doggystyle", "Ready to Die", "The Blueprint" And that's just to name a few. See if you're a new nigga and you're reading this, you have no fucking clue what's going on right now. As far as the history of music a new nigga doesn't know much music before "Get Rich Or Die Trying." That's as far back as most new niggas minds will allow them to go. They just know Shady/Aftermath 50, they have no fucking idea who "Guess Who's Back", "50 Cent is The Future" 50 is.

This is how I know new niggas dont know music before 2003 b. I was in school at Slippery Rock University in Spring 2010 at a basketball game. It was halftime of the game, as I recall SRU was losing but that's another story. Over the loud speakers I hear Nas feat. Diddy "Hate Me Now" and me and my nigga E-Man started to bob our heads (pause) and say a few lines from the song. When outta no where this new nigga (who shall remain nameless) asks a questions. His question was "Rell, E, when did this new Nas come out?" We both looked at this nigga, got up from our seats and walked away b, from that day forward his musically opinion means absolutely nothing to me.

Qualification #2
If you ever fix your mouth to utter the words "Wayne is better than HOV" you my friend are a new nigga. To a new nigga Wayne is the best rapper to ever touch a mic, but to compare Little Wayne to Shawn Carter to crazy to me. You can't even compare the two. Wayne's best album by far in my opinion is The Carter 1 and that isn't even better than some of HOV's good work such as "The Black Album." We are talking about the man that gave us "Reasonable Doubt" and "American Gangster." A man that had everyone who was able to afford a X5 and told them "We don't drive X5's, we give em to baby momma's" and niggas stop purchasing them. New nigga just chill with the Wayne is better than HOV bullshit b.

Qualification #3
I'm just going to throw a few rap lines out there and yall can comment on who you think said it first.

"So the rings and things you sing about bring em out"

"Give me any amount of time dont let Ms. Carter grieve, at the funeral parlor drippin tears of my sleeve"

"Raw nights I preform like Mike, anyone Tyson, Jordan, Jackson, action!"

"50 told me go head switch the style up, and if they hate then let em hate and watch the money pile up"

If you don't know the artists that said those lines, then my friend you are.....you know the rest!

Aite I'm out, follow @Rell_Mac but before I go I must hit yall with some more knowledge. So here it is....
