Welcome back to First Class Blogs
I know I haven't done a #PghSupportPgh interview blog in a while so over this past weekend I sat down with Founder of ClassicFlyyGirl Tiffany. Throughout our interview we discussed a few topics concerning her business and future plans for her and her brand.
Enjoy and remember #PghSupportPgh because we can't make it to the top without some help!
Before we start this interview explain to those who don't know who ClassicFlyyGirl is....
ClassicFlyyGirl™ is a brand name. Created in the image of God, just like its CEO. It it a representation of my life and under this name I have created a hoop earring line, I resell trendy jewelry, and I blog and write poetry.
Do you make and design all the items yourself?
I do not design all the items. I started designing hoop earrings (skercents) and those are labeled as hand designed. Other jewelry that is sold under my brand is purchased and resold. It would be nice to design everything that's just not my forte. I have great taste in jewelry, so I shop or things I think are Flyy and then I sell them.
I've known you for a while as being a fashionable person, who inspires you when it comes to fashion?
When it comes to fashion I am inspired by four of my great friends. For years I have always asked them for advice, input and what not to wear. Ozsha, Whitney, Jamila and MiQuel. Those are my fashionistas. They have class first and then style. Which is critical to being stylish.
Would you one day like to own a boutique and/or design you own clothing and jewelry?
I would not like to design clothes. I'll just continue to shop. A boutique would be amazing. In the future I hope to have a small boutique.
Give the readers a few do's and dont's of fashion in 2013
Here is a fashion do from ClassicFlyyGirl™: be yourself. I don't consider my self trendy because fashion is seasonal and I personally like whatever catches my eye. Style is forever, and I am stylish. Find what you like, what fits your body type and be fabulous!
Where can people get in touch with you twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and do you have a Paypal acct so people can purchase items?
ClassicFlyyGirl™ can be reached on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook. I have a website where jewelry can be purchased: classicflyygirl.bigcartel.com. Yes I have PayPal, it's extremely convenient.
Are there any expo's or networking events you plan to attend so people can check out a few items in person?
I will be vending at UPMC Magee on February 15th, I will also be at Clarion University that same evening with the AKA's for their founders week events. I will be vending at the "Fantasy Fashion Show" February 24th. On April 13th I will vend again in the "Trending Now Expo" hosted by D'Allure Trends.
