Throwback Thursday

Welcome back to another Throwback Thursday
Before I start this Throwback Thursday you must know that this blog is sponsored by
Now to the blog....

We all know this past Tuesday was thee birthday of the world's greatest rapper Shawn Corey Carter. We all listened to his music and quoted classic lines via Twitter and Tweetgram on IG. Some even took it a step further and watched "Streets Is Watching" and "Fade to Black." (Which should both be in your list of favorite movies if you're a real nigga but we're not going to go there right now).

This blog is not only dedicated to Shawn Corey Carter but its dedicated to the Pre-Blueprint Shawn Corey Carter. The Jay-Z that was actually a rapper and not the true business man he is today, the Jay-Z that had Dame Dash by his side every step of the way. This blog is dedicated to the Jay-Z that was on Hot 97 screaming to the world "Young Chris is only 16."

Now that Jay is 40+, a household name, and now has a child we shouldn't and wouldn't expect him to be the man he was when he first stepped in the game. He has shown a ton of growth but the "rapper" Jay-Z is still my favorite Jay-Z.

Here's the link to his only solo mixtape titled: The S. Carter Collection which came out in in 2001-2002

Today's Throwback Thursday is the song titled "In My Lifetime (Remix)" this song was recorded somewhere around 95-96, I believe is song was suppose to on Reasonable Doubt but didn't make the cut. This is still to this day in my top 5 Jay-Z songs of all-time.

Enjoy!!
