The Pussification of the Black Man

Well, a black man in office again, my food stamps application has been approved for the third time, and I am on the cusp of being hired by a great job. All is right with the world right?

Wrong!!! Wrong!!!
What's wrong you may ask.
Well its simple really

I am tired of the pussification of the Black man in America.
Don't act like you don't know what Im talking about.

On Monday I saw a picture of "trill" Harlem rapper, ASAP Rocky, in a peacoat, butter Timbs, tights, and what appeared to be a form fitting tanktop that resembled the style of a dress.
I then saw women on my TL saying they didn't care what he wears, that they admire a man who takes fashion risks , and even saying he could wear a thong and it wouldn't matter.

However what crossed my mind was...

When the fuck did being a man go out of style?

Seriously. I consider myself to be very tolerant, open minded, and non judgemental person but something needs to be said.

From Rocky's dress to Tyler Perry's mammy impersonations to RuPaul's Drag Race to the many gay black coons on reality tv shows. The perpetuation of the effeminate black man is increasingly prevelant in our society and I believe there is a reason for that.
A quick history lesson.

During instances of slavery among Africans by Arabs and to a lesser extent Europeans many slaves were castrated (balls chopped off) so that they couldn't not reproduce and in so doing were made high ranking members of royal families.

They were often guardians of palaces and family members. The term for this person is a Eunuch. The reason for the castration was so that the potential offspring of a slave could not grow up an rebel against the enslaver.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Perpetuate effeminization in an oppressed culture and watch their men get weaker and more desensitized to do anything against their oppressor.

This is a fact and continues to work in the black community in collaboration with the Willie Lynch Letter which was used to turn men and women against each other, old against young, and light against dark.

We continue to fall for the okey doke and think that its ok because its "swag" or just a movie character.

Stop taking things at face value and look at the big picture. This government has an investment in keeping our population stagnant, incarcerated, and plauged by disease and drug abuse.

Can you see the signs?
