Back to the blog....
We should all by now have Jeezy's new mixtape "It's Tha World" chillin comfortably in our Itunes and getting ready for Thirsty Thursday at our nearest Happy Hour. From what I've heard the mixtape is pretty dope but I still have to give it the "in the ride" test. All real niggas know what the "in the ride" test is so I shouldn't have to explain.
Jeezy has been giving us the fans dope music since he first stepped on the scene saying "I could find a hundred thousand in these Sean John jeans" That was back in 2004-2005 and he still delivers the same slick talk he did then. Drug lingo, fast cars, fast women, and fast money was the topic then and its still the topic now. We've seen growth in Jeezy I can't lie about that but he also sticks to what he knows best and that's the streets. Dating back to his first mixtape with DJ Drama titled "Streets is Watching" to his latest "Its Tha World" it's been brick talk and classic intros. Intros that have crowned him the intro king of all artist.
Today's Throwback Thursday is actually a couple of songs. Intro songs to be more specific from some of Jeezy's early mixtapes. Enjoy!
