The title of this blog is "Memphis Bleek >" and some of you are confused, I totally understand. Some of you are like WTF is Rell going with this blog today, give me a sec to explain you dirty lil niggas.
When have you heard Memphis Bleek slander Jay-Z?
When have you heard Memphis Bleek not rep Roc-A-Fella and/or Roc Nation?
The answer to both questions is NEVER!!
Loyalty to everything.
The intro to "Hard Knock Life Vol. 2" it says "Bleek's gonna be a good rapper, a new improved Jay-Z" We heard that and waited for Bleek to be this super dope, super lyrical rapper and it never happened. So like any good sidekick Bleek played his part and held HOV down through hell and high water.
When Jay-Z went thru his struggles with Dame, Bleek was there. When Jay retired and came back and the general public said he lost a step and was wack, Bleek was there.
Loyalty to his friend and mentor.
The point I'm trying to make is if you have great friends and good people around you cherish those people and continue to stay loyalty to them. The friends I have in my inner circle I'm loyal to them and its the other way around. We hold each other down in ways you couldn't imagine. Everyone can not be the mega superstar like Jay-Z, sometimes you have to understand your position and your role and be Memphis Bleek.
Everyone can not be Batman but there is nothing wrong with being Robin if you're loyal and will ride to the end for and with your friend.
Sidenote another great and loyal friend: Tony Yayo
"Bleek can be one hit away his WHOLE career/ as long as I'm alive he's a millionaire/ and even when I die he's in my will somewhere/ so he can just kick back and chill somewhere" - Jay-Z "Diamond Remix"
