Today we're going to focus on music and not just music but a certain song. Now this song was released in early 2000 from an artist at the time no one from at least my city has ever heard of. But just because it was from an artist that we didn't know at the time did not stop people from blastin this song at "Project pissy hallway levels" (shoutout to @i_WhiteMike ). This song was an instant hit the moment you heard it and it put this artist hometown on the map. That song, niggas and niggettes is Nelly "Country Grammar."
Now no matter how gangster you claim to be or how "swagged out" you think you are when you heard "boom, boom, boom Hot Shit" in the year 2000 you instantly turned your discman up. Ok, let me breakdown what a discman is to you new niggas. You know what I not even going to do that, Google that shit if you don't know. Moving. Right. Along. Nelly's "Country Grammar" as being played by kids, young adults, damn near everyone it was something you just couldn't deny.
Now let's talk about this video. Within the first 10 seconds you seen the "Ratchetness" but from a song where in the hook it says "Shimmy shimmy coco what...." what did you expect?! All jokes aside tho this video was St. Louis. Nelly made sure he wore nothing but jerseys from St. Louis teams, they had old school rides, and lil kids wearing Vokal. Speaking of the jerseys Nelly wore, he made wearing your jersey backwards popular! Now I know some of you niggas did it, don't front now!! You can tell Nelly was at the beginning of his career and just didn't care the nigga had a yellow durag with the tail out b. Now when you wear a durag with the tail out in public you don't care about shit b, it's a fact! Nelly and the St. Lunatics put on for their city and showed the world how St. Louis live, so enjoy your "Throwback Thursday" with Nelly's "Country Grammar"
"Let me in now, let me in now! Bill Gates Donald Trump let me in now!!"
