Throwback Thursday

Welcome back to another Throwback Thursday

Today's Throwback Thursday artist comes from the south Atlanta, GA to be more specific. This artist first stepped on the scene in 2001 with the hit single titled "I'm Serious" feat Beanie Man. This artist later grown into an artist we all loved at one point, he kept his music personal and that's what we liked most about this artist. He welcomed us into his "Trap" and then showed and told us about the "Paper Trail" today's Throwback Thursday song comes from T.I
Clifford "T.I" Harris is one of the most lyrical artist to come from the south. He's shown his lyrical abilities from the mixtapes he's released, to the albums, to even a few rap beefs he's had. The titled "King of The South" fits him and his character.

Just recently T.I has uncovered the release date for his upcoming album titled "Trouble Man", this is an album fans and critics have been waiting on for some years now. Aside from his run-ins with the law the last couple years, we haven't had a "real" T.I album in about 3-4 years. Sure he released "No Mercy" in December of 2010 but the album seemed rushed by the label to what they thought would satisfy us the consumers but it didn't. The album was jammed together with songs that were recorded before T.I had to go back to jail and there wasn't any real marketing behind the project.

Today I decided to pick a song off T.I's third studio album "Urban Legend."
My reason for choosing this album is because this is the album that had people asking the question "Who is T.I?" This was and still is a pretty dope album, it still gets put in rotation in my car. Coming off the success from his previous album "Trap Muzik" TIP followed up solid with "Urban Legend." I was debating on the song/video I should use from this album it was either "You Don't Know Me" or "Bring Em Out" and I decided to stick with "Bring Em Out" because we the fans want the label to bring out another classic T.I album.

Let's hope "Trouble Man" is just as classic as his first four albums with the hit singles, classic album cuts, and one or two personal songs.
