Now I know majority of you are upset today is Monday and your'e back at work telling your boss what you're not going to do (in your head). You can not wait to get off and get ready for Love and Hip Hop NYC but before that I have something I've been thinking about.
Of course it's about music so grab seat my nigga
Today Juelz Santana released a mixtape titled "God Will'n" my question to you would be "Should we still care?"
We all know Julez for being a member of one of the hottest groups in the 2000's which is the Dip Set and they've gave us classic music, I mean classic. From "Diplomatic Immunity 1" to "Come Home With Me" Dip Set was everywhere in the early 2000's.
But has Juelz time came and left?
We've been fans for over 10 years from when we first heard Santana rap on SDE and we all said "Who is Cam's young boy, he can spit". But now after multiple years of not releasing an album and no "I Can't Feel My Face" album (Which I doubt anyone even wants anymore) it seems like Julez core fan base is gone. Yea he jumps on a few features here and there and he may drop a freestyle every 4 months but is that enough?
I think I speak for everyone when I say we want a classic flawless solo project from Juelz. Juelz reminds me of Young Chris. We know he can rap but maybe they started their careers too high and were on cloud 9 and now they are slowly fading away. Santana with the Dips and Young Chris with State Property both being on Roc-A-Fella they were the hottest things in rap. But after that quick run the The Roc what have they done?
I don't think the "Harlem Swag" can carry Juelz anymore we want bars, classic music from start to finish.
So is this "God Will'n" mixtape his last chance to try and win us over, or do the vast majority of listeners no longer care?
Let me know what yall think....
